Usage

Straightness measurement:Align the straight edge of the triangular ruler with the measured straight line and observe whether there is a gap between the two.If there are no gaps or the gaps are extremely small,it indicates that the straightness of the measured line is good;If the gap is large,it indicates that the measured line has a certain degree of curvature or straightness,and a feeler gauge can be used to measure the gap size to evaluate the straightness error.

Verticality measurement:Place one right angled edge of a triangular ruler on the measured plane,so that the other right angled edge is in contact with the measured line or plane.If the measured line or plane is perfectly aligned with the right angle edge of the triangular ruler,it indicates that the measured line is perpendicular to the plane;If there is a gap,the verticality error can be determined by measuring the gap.
