Marble Platform

The accuracy level of marble platforms is mainly divided according to the national standard GB/T 4987-2008"Flat Plates Part 1:Cast Iron Flat Plates and Rock Flat Plates",as follows:

Level 00:This is the highest level of accuracy.Within a square area with a side length of 25mm,the flatness tolerance is±0.5μm.For smaller marble platforms,such as 300mm×300mm platforms,the flatness tolerance of the entire plane is usually around±5μm.Suitable for high-precision measurement and calibration work,such as extremely precise measurement and positioning of components in aerospace,precision instrument manufacturing,and other fields.

Level 0:High accuracy.The flatness tolerance within a square area with a side length of 25mm is±1.0μm.Taking a 600mm×600mm platform as an example,its flatness tolerance is generally around±10μm.Commonly used in high-precision machining,metrology and testing institutions,as a reference plane for precision measurement,it can calibrate and test high-precision measuring tools and instruments.

Level 1:Moderate accuracy.The flatness tolerance within a square area with a side length of 25mm is±2.0μm.For a 1000mm×1000mm platform,the flatness tolerance is approximately±20μm.Suitable for mechanical processing workshops,laboratories,etc.with general precision requirements,it can be used for measuring and inspecting parts with ordinary precision,as well as serving as a benchmark for the installation and debugging of some medium precision equipment.

Level 2:Relatively low accuracy.The flatness tolerance within a square area with a side length of 25mm is±4.0μm.For example,for a platform measuring 1500mm×1000mm,the flatness tolerance is approximately±40μm.It can be used in some situations where precision requirements are not particularly high,such as part inspection and assembly work platforms in ordinary mechanical manufacturing workshops,which can meet general measurement and assembly needs.

Level 3:It is the lowest level of accuracy.The flatness tolerance within a square area with a side length of 25mm is±8.0μm.For larger platforms,such as 2000mm×1500mm,their flatness tolerance may be around±80μm.Mainly used in situations with low precision requirements,such as some non precision machining workshops as auxiliary work platforms,or for equipment foundation platforms with low precision requirements.
